Craftsman’s Notes
This work partitions a living room and dining room. The shoji are easily removed for storage elsewhere creating a single larger space. The shoji have the classic 3 vertical and 9 horizontal lattice (kumiko) pattern. Typically, the white ash tracks and jambs have a shellac and wax finish.
